A question for you!
Are you interested in gaining experience in working in the print media and the internet? Perhaps you have children interested in a career in the news media? Do you have skills in web-site and social media development?
If you do, could you spare some time to help with your local newspaper, the Caversham Bridge? Our team of volunteers are looking for people like you to help with editing the paper and maintaining the web site. We also need help in collecting information on local matters in Caversham and Emmer Green and writing articles.
We would like to expand the scope of the Bridge and add new sections, in particular covering youth activities and local sports. We aim to introduce a youth section, written by young people from the area.
There are many sporting activities undertaken in Caversham, from 5-a-side football and tennis to canoeing and athletics. We know these are under reported in the Caversham Bridge and want to improve our coverage.
